Called twice and was left on hold both times for over five minutes. My cat had swallowed part of a toy right before I called. I checked the website in the middle of the second call, and although they prefer you to call ahead, you can just go. So that's what I did. I drove all the way there, just to be told they were closed, and then they asked if I called ahead. I had told them I did and I was left on hold both times for five minutes. They told me they technically couldn't turn me down for service but the wait was 15+hrs until discharge. The only thing they were helpful for was a list of other vets within a 3 hour driving radius. If you are going to put someone on hold and you're an emergency vet, why don't you tell them BEFORE you put them on hold, that you have a 15+hr wait time. Or, just have a wait time message playing on the phone before the person at the desk picks up. I'm not going to sit on the phone on hold while panicking about my cat, when I could be on my way there. I know alot of people share this same mindset, there's a really simple fix to this frustration that is shared among patients.

Don't bother. 70 goddamn miles for a vet to do nothing. Take your name of the emergency vet list because all you do is referr people three counties over for what?

I took my pit to the hospital monday n unfortunatly he was put down. The doc n staff on Monday were great.
Went back on FRIDAY to get his ashes. I walked in and said my name n here to pick up my dogs ashes. She said what, n I said dont do this to me. She coped an attitude.
Being distraught I said your emergency pull station was pulled. Need toget it fixrd because its a fine. She copped a bigger tude.
Wont be back n telling my brorher n sisyer firefighters to boycott this loud mouth mangers tude!
Your loss. Cant treat greiving customs withr espect so dont use them. Docs great staff (manager) waste n no manager for sure!

The vet was very nice, I felt everything went great. Then I get a bill with $320 more than the agreed quote! The first girl I spoke with claimed they got the charge reversed, but the bill went up $4. At this point the other rollie pollie vet-tech comes to discuss the bill she was obviously the one doing the billing in the back and is a nasty thing! I will never return or recommend anyone go here its all about $ and surprise give us more. What's the point of the quote?
Edit** called the number in the response, was told I needed to call corporate. Corporate has nothing but full voice mail boxes. I wanted to add photos to this but for some reason can not ,I have print outs of the quote and both bills. My next step is a report to the bbb. I would like to note again the vet we saw was great! The entire problem is the woman that was doing the billing this particular evening.
