I was very happy to find the product I wanted quickly, was in stock at petco. I wish there was a closer petco! Once there, the clerks were all helpful and I found several things I hadn’t planned on getting. I left, very satisfied with the experience. My cats are happy too!

Rudest people I have ever encountered! I will NEVER shop here again. Walked in looking for a specific bird, a canary. The employee laughed in my face and said good luck with that. He said no one sells them in this area. I called Petsmart and they have 2 in stock. I’m headed there with all my business from now on

I went to the VetCo clinic this past Saturday and was very disappointed. I drove 45 minutes to get there and waited in line a good 30 minutes before the older woman vet told me that my cat was sick, told me that he definitely had to be sneezing and coughing at home (he wasn't) and gave me attitude when I asked if there was really nothing they could do to help. I understand that they have to cover their butts, but I took him to Tractor Supply's clinic less than an hour later and they said he was healthy and gave him his vaccines. I will not be returning and Tractor Supply will be my go-to.

I am fully aware that it’s unadvised to get a hamster from chain stores as they supply from rodent mills 99.9% of the time, however there aren’t many ethical breeders nearby that are currently adopting out hamsters. I got a hamster today and less than 6 hours later it died in my hands, and it was pretty traumatic. I have a large cage providing everything a hamster could possibly need (photo provided). I’m 100% positive that it was absolutely not my fault that the hamster passed away. I checked out the petsmart up on Northway mall Drive and I would highly advise anyone who’s searching for a rodent to add to their family, to go there instead of this Petco. They seem to be the lesser of the evil, as I have not yet seen them house more than 1 hamster in a cage, and they have some hay mixed into bedding for them(which is above the bare minimum,, the bar is very low). Plus they have cleaner bedding than petco. They also offer seeds and pellets, unlike this petco location. The long haired Syrian hamsters were also very matted :( I’m honestly not sure what I was even expecting knowing that they house the hamsters in pairs (not to mention that they come from a rodent mill) I feel terrible and guilty for buying a hamster from here.. But you live and you learn, so I guess I’m sharing this so you all can learn from my mistake too. I will say though that the dude that helped me with the hamster was super kind. Guy with medium long brown hair. I’m pretty sure he was new as he didn’t quite know how to handle the hamsters, and he accidentally dropped the saucer wheel on said hamsters .. and dropped said hamster that passed away.
