  The 2 star isn’t for the store staff here, they’re actually great and tried to be really helpful. It’s for the “vetco” clinic that comes thru. Beware on using this “affordable” clinic. It is NOT affordable number one, number 2, they try to upsell you relentlessly on things u don’t want or need, 3 u can’t just get the shots you actually want, bc it’s more money to just get the individual shots than it is their “packages”. $138 for basic shots, my dog already had most of his shots, I was told since they were done 6 mos ago we had to restart them completely from scratch bc he’s coming up on a yr old, which doesn’t make sense, that’s not how shots work. He should have mainly just needed boosters. They wouldn’t give me the shots I was actually worried about (was told to come back for one single shot bc that was too many, and instead of holding the rabies vaccine, they held a more critical vaccine) and just walk in, and now I have to schedule an appointment for next week bc they won’t put us in today. Wouldn’t take 2 mins or less to talk to me on the phone. I am so disgusted with my experience with this vetco business, bc that’s what it is, just a business. They just care about upselling the package, not the needs of the animal. I will never be utilizing their services again after I get his last shot. They also couldn’t even be bothered to administer his dewormer they had me pay for, they gave it to me to take home and give. Also when I wanted to ask the vet about shot placement I was told, “she isn’t getting paid to talk to customers”. The whole experience sucked. Bottom line.

  Honestly petco needs to pay more attention to their animals I went in today to get some food for my spider and I seen this sick skinny chameleon he was dark and grey super skinny he was walking around wobbling all over the place he looked like his eyes were sunk in and his enclosure was dryer than the desert this store needs reported for animal neglect!!

  Taylor at Petco was amazing! Taylor went above and beyond to help me and was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals and the customers.

  DO NOT BUY PURINA ONE for your animal here. The food is infested with moths, worms and webs on the food. This has been common to see in all purina at this store. We ran into an issue months back and had opened 6+ bags with a worker there that were infested and recently just got another bag today with the same issue.
