- LKLisa Keister5 days ago1.0I have 2 dogs... 1 who is perfectly fine in just about any situation & 1 who has MAJOR anxiety issues. She's been through classes & is in the process of starting up with a trainer. I've been working with her a LOT myself, also. I take them to pet stores as part of her training, as opposed to Rural King, Lowe's, and places like that because the staff at pet stores usually understand dogs more than the average Joe. Most of them at least understand that, when a dog is obviously anxious & possibly even a little scared, YOU DO !NOT! WALK STRAIGHT UP TO THEM AT A FAST PACE AND SHOVE YOUR HAND IN THEIR FACE! Well.... apparently, that's not a known fact with the staff at this location. When I pulled her back from this person & said "NO", this dude HAD THE NERVE to say, "Oh, it's ok. I work here". I DO NOT CARE! BACK OFF! I had to stay as calm as possible & not tell this guy off, because me getting upset would just get my dog upset. I've been shopping at this location for a while now. In fact, I typically spend about $150 - $200 on my dogs every 2 weeks & I was thinking about just shopping here from now on (because of the convenience of the location) but never again! I will never give this location another penny. Thanks for making my job just a little harder today, Petsmart!

Before I explain, I want to say I understand that Covid really messed up people keeping their jobs as well as getting jobs. My concern now, specifically the fish, I feel that if you have less workers, less time, etc you should take the amount of animals you have a way until you have more hands and money. The animals like the cats, hamsters and birds look pretty normal and healthy and taken care of well. But the first two fish I saw was stuck in a plant. I couldn’t tell if they were dead or not. But there were other ones that were in fact dead. Please don’t have fish especially saltwater fish if you don’t have the hands to take care of them 💔

I thought that the prices were slightly high, but I found foods and catnip that my cats like. The cashier did their job well.
