I recently had my pet Roxy at Crafton Banfields and really had a great visit. Dr. Richardson was outstanding and I never felt rushed. Savannah was very thorough and I didnt have any questions or concerns with Roxy’s care when I left. I am grateful that the staff at Crafton really seem to care a great deal about providing excellent care to all the pets. I appreciate them greatly.

My senior dog went for a check-up. When they called me to pick him up I could hear him barking on the phone and he never barks. When I entered the building I could hear him and asked that he be brought out to me immediately. It took awhile and the doctor said that he was only started barking because he had saw me. He had difficulty standing there and for the next two days. I was unknowingly signed up for their service and Banfield is extremely expensive compared to every other vet I have had. Over the course of several phone calls I was told I could not. I had to dispute it with my credit card company. There have been several class action lawsuits against Banfield. My dog has since passed but we want to warn other pet parents to avoid all of Banfield's locations.

I want to start by saying that the staff at this Banfield location are genuinely wonderful.
Dr. Skiba is kind, knowledgeable, and truly seems like she would do anything to keep my dogs happy and healthy. You can tell she actually cares. Emily at the front desk is always friendly and patient and never makes me feel bad for asking questions. The vet techs—Karly, Amber, and rainbow glasses Emily—have consistently been caring, compassionate, and helpful as well.
Unfortunately, the biggest issue here isn’t the people—it’s Banfield as a corporation. Banfield pushes wellness plans by claiming they save money, but in reality they don’t. Prices are marked up exorbitantly, even with the supposed discounts. For example, I was charged $8.70 more for a one-month supply of one my dog’s medications than Chewy charges—before Chewy’s autoship discount—despite Banfield advertising a 15% medication discount for plan members.
To make matters worse, I was charged $621.84 for services I’m unable to use, per their website pricing, and when I reached out to the corporation the response was essentially “too bad.” There was no flexibility, compassion, or willingness to work with me at all.
Overall, I’ve had a great experience with the employees at this location, and they deserve recognition for the care they provide. But when corporate policies prioritize profit over people and pets, it makes it impossible to continue. Because of that, I’ll be finding a new pet hospital once my current wellness plans expire.

I've been taking my dog here for 7 years. The actual veterinarian care is ok-ish but it's such a hassle to do anything. Medications are marked up exorbitantly, I've been waiting days for them to approve my prescription order through a 3rd party service. I've called a dozen times in the past few days and they either decline the call, or answer and leave me on a never ending hold. If my dog could handle a new environment I'd definitely switch vets.

Called to confirm my pets appointment for this Saturday. I was advised they had no record of the appointment and were unable to accommodate this appointment. Please see the attached photos, I made an appointment over a month ago and now my pet will be delayed in receiving care from ANOTHER veterinarian office.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
