I brought my cat in for a skin rash on her back. The vet decided to skip the rabies shot at the time because they didn’t want it interfering with the rash treatment, which I agreed with. She prescribed Feline Prednisone, gave a steroid shot, and recommended Douxo S3 Pro foam, shampoo, and fish oil. To be fair, the treatment initially worked. The rash started healing and things were improving. However, once the feline Prednisone ran out, the rash began to come back. I continued using the foam, shampoo, and fish oil as instructed, but it wasn’t resolving fully. When I called to request a refill on the medication, I was told they couldn’t issue one because the vet who saw her was a substitute and unable to authorize refills. Now they want to charge another full visit fee, around $200, just to have her seen again and rewrite the prescription. That part is frustrating. I understand policies exist, but it feels excessive when it’s a continuation of the same issue. Overall, the treatment plan worked at first and the staff was professional, but the refill policy and cost to continue care left a bad impression.

I have been going to this office for years decades and never do I leave there satisfied I've been taking my dog there for seizures for over a year I also brought to the vets attention a year ago a lump that developed after a tick bite The vet physically examined it and felt it wasn't anything to be concerned about because it was under the skin As time has gone by this lump that was the size of a peanut has now grown to twice the size of an egg My boy Started taking seizures a year ago also to which I was taking him to this office to be managed Every time I've had a problem they've never been of any real help but given me a hard time and of lately I have tried to call this office for over a month and I do not lie every time the phone rings gets answered and hangs up I had to take him to another vet to get some blood work done in regards to his seizures because I could not contact this office I think it's a shame I've been going there longer than half of the people that worked there but yet get treated like I'm somebody off the street It's a shame that we cannot find component and professional vet care for our pets especially for what they charge

Been going to Banfield for years in a few cities I've lived. Love it. The prepaid plans are perfect.
