If i can give (-1000 stars) i shall give this location that many negative stars.. To the Manager/Regional Director, I am writing to formally document and express serious concern regarding the unprofessional and unacceptable experience I had at your east liberty banfield clinic on 6401 Penn Ave, on February 26, 2026, at approximately 2:40 PM while attending an appointment with my puppy, Loki. From the beginning of the visit, my puppy was anxious and drooling due to stress as he puked in the car already by then. While I was managing him near the weighing scale, another client who was seated inside a room abruptly intervened without any knowledge of the situation. She displayed an openly arrogant and confrontational demeanor, rolling her eyes and stating that she “preferred to wait outside rather than watch me mistreat my puppy.” This accusation was made without her having any understanding of what was actually happening. I was confused by her comment and attempted to clarify, as she had no context regarding my puppy’s condition at that moment. Instead of engaging calmly, she escalated the situation further by slamming the door while my puppy was near it and attempting to move toward the exit. This behavior was aggressive and unnecessary. I chose to remain quiet initially in order to avoid escalating the situation. However, while I was seated in the waiting area, the same individual returned and began loudly complaining about me again. At that point, I stepped outside and firmly told her to mind her own business, as she did not know the circumstances. She continued yelling, stating " my puppy is just a puppy and i should be ashamed of myself for mistreating my puppy "and the confrontation intensified. What is most concerning is the conduct of the staff present at the front desk and the staff member who came into the lobby at that time. Rather than immediately intervening to stop the other client’s yelling and accusatory behavior, I was the one being shouted at and repeatedly instructed to “go inside.” When I stood there explaining that the other client had no right to interfere without understanding the situation, I was met with raised voices from staff. One staff member (nurse/front desk personnel on duty at that time) spoke to me in an aggressive and unacceptable tone, stating words to the effect of, “You better go inside, she’s checking out,” while the other client was still actively yelling. Being spoken to in that manner, in front of another client who was the one escalating the situation, was humiliating and unprofessional. A veterinary clinic must provide a controlled and respectful environment. Allowing one client to publicly accuse another, display arrogant behavior, slam doors, and continue yelling—while staff raise their voices at the targeted client instead of firmly stopping the aggressor—reflects a serious failure in conflict management and professionalism. I remained for the appointment solely because my priority was ensuring that Loki received his necessary care. However, the manner in which this situation was handled has significantly impacted my trust in this location. Every pet owner has their own approach and methods when caring for and managing their animals. Without full knowledge of the situation, assumptions should not be made, and other clients should not be permitted to interfere or escalate matters. What someone briefly observes does not necessarily reflect the full context of what is happening. It is the responsibility of clinic staff to ensure that accusations and confrontations are handled professionally and fairly. I demand acknowledgment of this complaint and clarification regarding: 1) The conduct of the staff on duty on February 26, 2026 at approximately 2:40 PM. 2) The clinic’s protocol for handling client confrontations and ensuring that such situations are immediately and professionally de-escalated. I expect that appropriate steps will be taken to ensure that no client is subjected to this type of treatment in the future. Sincerely, Rajee Raghavaraju

Very nice group of people but my cat never receives the full service I ask for. He is very nervous without me but they insisted I drop him off and when I went to get him last time, he was covered in pee and nothing was completed. They claim to have done his check up but I haven’t been back since. May only use them for emergencies

The staff is very caring and informative but I don’t like the fact that the doctor examines my pet without me being there.
