- EHEmily HooverMar 12, 20261.0I took my dog to his annual appointment that was scheduled as in room appointment. We were never roomed. I sat in the waiting area and They took my dog back for vaccines and that was about it. The vet didn't come out to talk to me and if they did they didn’t introduce themselves. Would have liked to have had a conversation with the vet during our scheduled in room appt. Disappointed because I’ve had a positive experience with other Banfield’s. This appointment was their second strike (had a negative experience with my other dog a few months ago). Will not be returning and would not recommend this location.

Eileen, Sarah, and Dr. Cohen were amazing along with the other staff I interacted with but did not get the name of. Thank you for the comprehensive exam that addressed my areas of concern and more! I appreciated the education. They allowed me to bring both of my dogs in. The dogs LOVED them and I loved feeling like they treated my dogs as one of their own. I highly recommend the Wellness Plan! It is worth the cost! Looking forward to Pepper's and Pippin's next appointment.

- FFFHBRJun 4, 20175.0UPDATE: Our old review was out of date, so we wanted to post something more current. We continue to receive great care for the rescue pups here in 2021 and LOVE Dr. Liparulo. Dr. Tarter is sadly no longer here, but most everyone else vet-wise has been terrific in the last 14 (!!!) years. We have been going to Banfield in Ross Twp since it opened in 2007. Dr. Tarter and Dr. Liparulo are the BEST and always take great care of our rescues.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
