  I stopped briefly and requested 2 Comet Goldfish (.49 cent fish) and the employee named Bek began to question the size of tank I had I roughly estimated it was about 3 galons, (it was actually 5 galons whenever I got home)and she refused to sell me the fishes because it wasnt big enough for the 2 fishes. I insisted I wanted the 2 fishes she said she would only allow me to buy one. Like they had 50 of these fishes in a 10 gallon tank, and there was a dead one! Are you serious! So I requested to speak to the manager and she pointed at someone at the register. I went to the register and started to complain to the manager Brandon (no nametag) and obviously he stated they have the right to refuse the sale of any animals if they don't think its safe. I understand their statement but if I tell them my husband will make sure to have the right tank they should not give me a difficult time about this especially since they we 2 small goldfish. Never returning to this store again! Update-Not even 6 hours after purchase the fish died and within 5 hours after the other 2 fish that I've had over 2 months died as well. Obviously, she sold me a sick fish. Beware!

  Its really disappointing when I order food online, the product had been tampered with. I called immediately after I noticed and spoke directly with a manager to inform her of this situation. She then informed me that a replacement would be held back and id just need to come in with the product and my receipt info. Once I got there, the woman at the counter informed me that there was nothing left back for me, but I could see if there was anything on the floor to change out. Of course, the product I needed to change out was not on the floor to get a replacement. This is just disappointing because I drive an hour and a half to get to the area in order to get food for my animal and it's not even there. Yes a refund has been placed but if you tell me your going to hold an item back, please do. Also for the people who pick the product, please do better. Its a 12 pack of food and the weight difference is pretty clear. I didnt notice it initially since buying x2 of the product. Ill take my money back to petsmart.

  This is one of the cleanest Petcos that we have ever been too. There shelves are fully stocked, their employees are very knowledgeable, and all the live animals, fish,and plants looked well taken care of. We have been going from pet store to pet store in search of a certain catfish and this Petco just happen to have two. We had to go to an appointment and the employee offered to hold them for us, especially after finding out that we have been searching to them for a while. Definitely going to be my new "home" store even though it is 45 mins from our home.

  They have a lot of fish, freshwater and saltwater. Many varieties that you normally don't see in big box pet stores. They also have corals. That is the positive. But not everything is this rosy. The aquarium with corals is always dirty, the prices are always hidden or missing and the light is adjusted in a way the corals don't look pretty. Even though they mostly look quite healthy. And the biggest problem is that there is usually just one guy working and he's way too busy to attend all the customers. And sometimes there are no employees, only a bunch of customers they would like to be helped...
