We've taken multiple dogs here for training, boarding, grooming, and daycare over the past 20+ years. The staff care deeply about every dog there and work to provide them safe, fun visits.
The trainers are fantastic. They take the time to listen to your needs and tailor the training to each dog and family they work with.
I've recommended them to family, friends, coworkers and anyone who asks.

We used Perfect Pooch for the first time to groom our 120 pound German Shepherd, and I honestly wish I could give them a million stars! Sam was wonderful to work with when scheduling the appointment - her sunny disposition and helpfulness made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Rachel handled the grooming and she was FANTASTIC! She called as soon as our dog was finished and gave a detailed update on how he behaved - which, was very well! You could hear the genuine care and enthusiasm in her voice; it truly felt like she loves both her job and the dogs she works with. Rachel did an outstanding job with the grooming. We'll ABSOLUTELY be coming back! Highly recommend Perfect Pooch!

My shitzpoo, Murphy had bad anxiety when I took him to other groomers. From the first visit to Perfect Pooch, he’s a completely different dog. He’s calm, he’s relaxed & it’s obvious he feels safe. The facility is super clean. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Murphy loves Sam (groomer), and he did well when I boarded him while on vacation. I am a forever customer. Murphy and I love Perfect Pooch! I highly recommend.

I have a tiny, energetic, mostly adorable—sometimes velociraptor—puppy whose energy levels were completely off the charts. Puppy preschool (aka puppy bootcamp) was a game changer. Emily and Michelle quickly became his favorite people, and I saw a difference almost immediately.
He graduated yesterday and somehow went from velociraptor/kangaroo to a puppy with *mostly* good manners and leash skills like a pro. The two private lessons were great, and we were even there together when he lost his first tooth—they were just as excited as I was. Highly recommend! 🐶⭐

I can not say enough good things about perfect pooch! My Nina girl joined our family in December of 2025. It became clear she had severe anxiety towards people. Even if she saw someone a mile away she would start shaking, running away, peeing herself and due to the anxiety started loosing hair. Nina was then put on “doggy Prozac” and her vet suggested she attend a daycare to receive exposure therapy to people (and encourage her love for socializing with dogs.) I was so nervous when I brought Nina in. Her first few visits were rough, she would shake and shed, pee herself, try to run back to the car. I had to carry her in. The staff were so gentle and kind with Nina, even staff that were new to me were aware of her anxiety and made sure she was comfortable. I received updates on progress and cute photos through the company Snapchat. Each day I hear the employees calling every dog by name as the owners walk them in, they remember the small details. Their attention to truly knowing each dog and caring for them is amazing! Nina has been going to perfect pooch for 3 weeks. Today when I dropped her off she ran into the gated area, jumping at the fence excited to go in, licking the employees hand and wagging her tail. I have never seen Nina react this way to anyone other than our family members. The progress made in only 3 weeks speaks for itself!! I am so grateful for everyone at perfect pooch, they supported Nina and continues to support her as she learns to trust people again 🤍
Here at Perfect Pooch, we require all of our dogs to pass a temperament evaluation prior to using our services. In order to set up an evaluation time, please call us at to schedule an appointment. Please remember to bring current vaccination records and feel free to print and bring along a completed New Client Intake Packet, which can be located on the Booking page. Here at Perfect Pooch, we require all of our dogs to pass a temperament evaluation prior to using our services. In order to set up an evaluation time, please call us at 610-337-7698 to schedule an appointment, or here to contact us via email.
What does the temperament evaluation entail?
Because your dog’s safety is our number one priority, we require a basic temperament evaluation for all new dogs. The evaluation consists of observation of your dog interacting with other dogs in the play yards to ensure they are friendly and responsive to our staff. We will need your dog to remain with us for approximately three hours to get a good idea of their play style and energy level, we encourage you to take advantage of this free day and allow your dog to play up until our closing time. At the time of your dog’s evaluation we will also offer you a tour of our facility so that you can see where your pet will play and rest. We do require a $20 deposit to hold your spot. This deposit will be refunded when you attend your scheduled evaluation or if you cancel at least 48 hours in advance.
How much does the evaluation cost?
The evaluation itself is completely free. However, we do require a $20 deposit to hold your spot. This deposit will be refunded when you attend your scheduled evaluation or if you cancel at least 48 hours in advance.

Does my dog have to be neutered/spayed?
We require your dog to be spayed/neutered if they are one year or older. Please keep in mind that an intact dog could cause disruption in the yard (due to excessive mounting, a female going into heat, etc.). If it were to become an ongoing problem, we would not be able to allow your dog in the yard anymore. *Please do not bring your dog if she is in heat!
If a dog is displaying unwanted behavior in relation to not being spayed/neutered before the one year mark, we reserve the right to ask you not to come back until they are spayed/neutered. When they do come back after the surgery, they will be re-evaluated to see if they can get back into playgroup.
What vaccinations do you require?
We require Rabies and Distemper (DHLPP/DA2PP) vaccinations. We do not require Bordetella (Kennel Cough), but we do strongly recommend it. Additionally, per PA State Law, we must have a copy of the Rabies Certificate with either the vet’s signature or license number.
What is a typical day at Perfect Pooch like for my dog?
Both our daycare and boarding dogs play in artificial turf yards, which are separated by dog size and play type, from 7:00am until 10:00am. Our boarding dogs (and daycare dogs who brought a lunch) go into an individual crate inside of our climate-controlled kennel for a mid-day feed and rest period until 1:00pm. At that time, the dogs go back out to their respective yards to continue playing until they are picked up from daycare. If they are boarding, they go back into their individual crate for their dinner at 7:00pm.
What happens when there is inclement weather?
Our new indoor facility allows our dogs to play in all types of weather! Our 3 acre facility is now accompanied by a 4,000 square foot turfed and climate controlled addition. The building is equipped with multiple garage doors that allow us to give dogs access to both indoor and outdoor play yards or contain them in the heated areas on those extremely cold and windy days.
Where does my dog sleep at night?
Your dog will be sleeping in an individual crate housed inside our climate-controlled kennel. The crates are large enough for your dog to be able to stand up and turn around completely, without touching the sides. There are composite plastic trays that will be underneath your dog for comfort as well as safety. Your dog will be comforted by soft music and will quickly fall asleep after his long day of playing! *We do have a limited number of stand-up kennels for our larger breeds, pairs or elderly clients!
What should I bring with my dog when I drop him off for boarding?
Is there always staff supervision of the dogs during play time?
Your dog’s safety is of our utmost priority. There are always multiple employees supervising the play and interaction of our dogs.
Do I need to make a reservation for Daycare? Boarding?
You never need to call ahead for daycare – you can just show up! For your convenience, we do not have specific drop-off or pick-up times; you can do so any time during our operating hours. Please note that we do not offer partial days, so if you drop off late you will be charged for the full day. For boarding, we recommend at least 48 hours during our non-peak season. For our busier times, such as holidays and during the summer, we recommend booking at least one week in advance to ensure availability. Reservations can be made online or over the phone.
What if I am away on vacation and my dog gets sick?
We know that sometimes illnesses and injuries can happen, so we are prepared to deal with them quickly and effectively when they do arise. We have a great relationship with many vets in our area and keep a stock of chicken, rice and other bland diet options for the occasional upset stomach. In the case of a more serious injury or lapse in health, you or your emergency contact will be notified immediately and will be updated throughout the entire recovery process. In the event where we feel a veterinary visit is needed and your pet cannot be seen by your usual vet, we will likely use the King of Prussia Veterinary Hospital (with your permission, of course). We are also near an emergency 24-hour animal hospital. If your pet needs to stay with us after a planned surgery or while recovering from a non-contagious illness, we can accommodate them with individual or limited supervised play.
