Veterinarian availability varies—book an appointment to ensure one is onsite. Clinics provide only routine vaccines and preventive tests. For emergencies, visit the nearest emergency vet hospital.
The service that Vetco provided was absolutely awful. The Vet, Dr. Sheila Selznick has the worst bedside manner. I took my dog there for 1 shot but the vet ended up giving him 8 total shots. The remaining of which we were going to take him to his actual vet for. The woman who checked us in (I assume the Vet Tech) was very rude. On our way out, there were two people, each with their own dog coming in and the Vet Tech said to them “Watch out. We have an aggressive dog here”. Meanwhile my dog is shaking because he is so scared/nervous. He is a rescue from a kill shelter in Texas so he is understandably anxious around other people and animals. I am just at a loss for words for the mannerism and unprofessionalism of the Vet and her Vet Tech that I can even begin to express how upset and frustrated this encounter made me. This by no means reflects on Petco and the services they offer because everyone there is great and does an amazing job. I just don’t have anything positive to say about the Vet and the poor service that was given.

Staff were kind and patient. Really appreciated them despite my failure to be on time. Would recommend for others to use, especially since the few local vets we have are overwhelmed! Thank you Vetco!

I get all my vaccines through my regular vet. I had a question about my dogs gums and the hair that almost seams to grow out of them. And they wouldn't even look at him. I also needed his chip rescaned for licensing and again they "can't do that unless you buy vaccines" so probably never going to that service. They are the price for vaccines as his regular vet so just not worth the headache.
