  The groomer, lori, was kind and patient with my shy pit bull mix. She did a wonderful job with shilohs bath and trimming her long nails, I will definitely recommend!

  Did a walk in for my Great Danes nail trim. They were a little bit busy so we came back 30 minutes later and as promised they were ready for her. They have to use some equipment in different ways because of her size and it takes 2 people. But she is a good dog and they get her done quickly!

  Please do not take your dogs here!! Last year was my first experience with Petco and Darla. Last year, Darla was welcoming, listened to how we wanted our dogs groomed and seemed to care about our dogs. Previously, The grooming area out front was clean, free of hair and dirt. This time, The entire front area was disgustingly dirty and there was a large spider dead right in front of the counter, which tells you how often it is cleaned. I took my English setter and Britney spaniel for a bath, haircut, and the summer package. When I picked up my English setter, he was supposed to be groomed down to a quarter of an inch. We even took the time to point out on their scale the length that we wanted, which was the 7f, meaning 1/2 withe the 6mm guard. Previously, I always groomed our dogs, but as I’ve gotten older, I am not able to do it after her shoulder injury. So I realize what a 7F means when selecting how short to cut their hair. However, when we picked him up, some of his hair was over an inch long, some of his hair was 3/4 of an inch long, and some was that 1/2 inch long. None of his hair was even, his paws were not trimmed as requested, His ears were not cleaned, His teeth were not brushed, and his nails were not trimmed. I am confident those are all the items that were paid $130 (just my setter)for and not delivered. Additionally, Ariel and Darla were less than pleasant. They both seemed like they were being bothered that we brought our animals there to be groomed. When we picked up our Britney spaniel, She also was not groomed. Her ears had not been touched. The only thing that was different was that her hair was more even than our English setters. Her hair was supposed to be a quarter of an inch long and was at least a half an inch everywhere and in most places longer. I am very very disappointed in both Ariel and Darla as they did not care, they very clearly did not want to do the job and clearly have no desire to groom any dog whatsoever. Please do not take a pet somewhere that they do not care about your animal as you will be paying for a service that will never ever be delivered, and your pet will not be taken care of whatsoever. My husband had to basically fight with the store manager because they wanted us to pay for the Britney grooming that never took place. The store manager had no clue about what was supposed to happen versus what actually happened. She just kept repeating well Why didn’t you bring up being unhappy with first service (English setter-that we paid $130). She said repeatedly we have scissors we can we can take your dog in the back again… So what she is saying, is to allow a groomer who we complained about to use scissors on my dog within a quarter inch of their skin after she knows we weren’t happy the first time . anyone that cares for their pets would never allow someone next to their animal with scissors after you’ve complained about them, It makes no sense. She clearly just wanted us to pay for the service(for our Brittany)even though the services that were supposed to be completed never actually happened. When we got the English setter land Brittany Home, I had to groom them myself and had an entire canister of hair(pet grooming vacuum) for each dog, which tells you how long their hair still was after Petco supposedly groomed them.
