I should have left this review sooner but I have been hiking in the mountains with my dog solely because of the remarkable effort of this place. Cove Mountains peerless staff and vets removed 80 quills from my dogs face after he encountered a porcupine on the Appalachian Trail. The 911 operator was looking for a place to take Sheldon as an emergency and Cove Mountain stepped up and saved my dog. Within 2 hours of the vicious encounter, I was petting my boy as he emerged from his sedation. Within two days, we were back on the trail and you would have never known what he had endured and all credit goes to this vet office. Their staff was so kind and welcoming to us, true heroes I will remember fondly and with deep gratitude for the rest of my life.

This vet is great ! He is not pushy at all, explains every thing in detail to his patients so you are well informed. I seen some reviews about "only being in it for the money" and personally I could not think that to be more false. I felt great leaving knowing I got what was needed and was not pushed to get more than what my dog needed for her lifestyle. The front desk ladies are also amazing so kind and you can tell they really enjoy what they do!!! I would recommend if you are looking for a good vet for your furry friend :)

We brought our very ill 13 year old American Bully in for end of life care. I cannot adequately express the level of care we received. It was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do, and they were so professional and empathetic. We are grateful for the service we received.

Please do not bring your pets here. The doctor has absolutely no regard for your time. Every single time I went I had to wait a MINIMUM of 30 minutes to get into an exam room, and then even longer for the doctor to come in. Before I went there many people in the area told me not to and that the Dr. Schwartz only cares about money and is super over priced, and I didn’t listen and learned for myself. He just seems like the main priority is charging you money. The front staff was always nice but it seemed like I was always running into issues and needing more appointments and to spend more. They told me if Dr. Schwartz were to approve my prescriptions on chewy each month there would be a charge for the doctor having to on on his computer and approve it…… then conveniently let me know there would be no extra charge if I used their online pharmacy. Just overall really bad vibes honestly. But again the front desk staff was always very kind so it wasn’t them at all. Please save yourself time and money and fine another vet. I go to VCA west shore now and the experience is night and day difference
