  I had a pretty scary situation with my 3 year old dachshund recently and I honestly cannot thank Doylestown Veterinary Hospital enough. Somewhere during a walk through New Hope, he must have gotten into a THC gummy without me realizing it. Within about 30 minutes, he started acting completely off. He was super sensitive to light, sound, and touch, his eyes were droopy, he was very out of it, and even had some muscle spasms when I tried to pet him. At the time I had no idea what was going on, so I called Doylestown Vet Hospital and they told me to bring him right in. He threw up on the way, and there was no obvious sign of what he may have gotten into. When I got there, Dr. Blumberg and his assistant were ready for us immediately and quickly figured out it was THC intoxication. They treated him right away with Maropitant Citrate injection, subcutaneous fluids, and B12 to help him recover faster. But what really stood out to me was how calm and reassuring Dr. Blumberg was. He made it clear my dog was going to be okay and took the time to make sure I was okay too. I was seriously impressed with how quickly they acted and how knowledgeable and caring the whole team was. You could tell they’ve handled situations like this before and knew exactly what to do. Also, for anyone reading this, THC and pets do not mix. It can happen fast and the symptoms can be pretty scary if you’ve never seen it before. Definitely keep anything like that completely out of reach. I’m just really grateful for how Doylestown Vet Hospital handled everything. They took what could have been a much worse situation and got my dog through it safely. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there again if I ever needed to. PS- Dr. Blumberg and Dr. Lugo are my HEROS!!!

  My 12 year old dog was suffering from cluster seizures, vomiting and diarrhea. The staff helped me get through this rough patch where the above symptoms have resolved. I’m confident they will continue to help me assess her quality of life as time goes on to help make the best decision for her. They are knowledgeable, and sympathetic. They have two people sign off on prescriptions. The grounds are beautiful and the treatment rooms are cozy unlike the noisy places I’ve been to. I highly recommend them.

  This is a very special place. Every vet and technician my three dogs have worked with are so loving and kind, along with being extremely knowledgeable. The office runs smoothly and we never have to wait long to be seen. They offer several services and I am thrilled they use a holistic approach which can be rare at most clinics. My 13 year old Golden Retriever, Skylar, loves receiving her accupuncture treatments with Dr Blumberg. Dr Palin has been wonderful with all my dogs, especially my little Cavapoos and is incredibly thorough in her assessments. If you are looking for the best veterinarian clinic around, you have found it!

  The reason I gave you an eight was not for the care of my cats, but because I made the appointment with a particular vet and then I saw a different vet who was very nice and was very thorough but I drive an hour and 45 minutes to get to you and I was disappointed that I did not see the doctor that I had made the appointment with. I understand it was a technical glitch with the appointments online.

  This place is the absolute best! The ladies at the front desk are always so kind and friendly as well as ALL the vets/technicians. We usually see Dr McDonald in particular and he is the sweetest man and gives the best care for our Mika! She’s a very shy dog but she takes to him so so well, which says a lot!🥰 No complaints whatsoever, I highly recommend!!
