- FRFiona RowanOct 17, 20231.0I haven’t been here since 2021, but I thought I’d leave a review for those looking into bringing their pet here so you are warned beforehand. The first red flag was when Dr. Paaby told my mom to hold her puppy’s head down when he would growl, which obviously just makes the dog more aggressive. The big thing that happened though and the reason I stopped going here was due to them not listening to me about my dog having a lump. I took him many times and kept telling them he had a lump over the course of many months. I was told it was a lipoma and he was fine, but I knew there was something wrong. She told me to bring him back if the lump turned red…and I did. I don’t remember her name but the vet told me they would remove the “lipoma” during his dental, which was a MONTH later. When they removed it and sent it off for testing, it came back as terminal cancer, . Also, turns out only HALF of the lump was removed. The vet offered to remove the rest…for a couple hundred dollars. Not only did they not listen to me as a pet owner and do a biopsy to begin with, they only removed half of the tumor. Well, fast forward two years later, my dog’s new vet informed me that if half of the specific tumor my dog had was left, it would’ve grown back. Just another way to scam me and get my money. Now I don’t even know if my dog has terminal cancer because of the amount of times I’ve been lied to by these “vets”.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
