Typically have a good experience. Today, my fiancé took our dog in and had to wait 40 minutes past appointment time. That was just to get a room. Banfield, please schedule accordingly, as it seems as though you can’t accommodate.

I just cancelled our OWP with them and am searching for a new vet. I took Suki in June to have her anal glands done...I asked for a vet to do it...I was told no only the techs do it. They didn't do a great job. It took weeks for her to stop scooting on the floor which this office told me was normal. Then in mid-sept I took her back in bc she was scooting again. Well...I heard my baby wailing in the back room...my pooch never made sounds like that and she's a super chill little shih tzu. That was 9/13...they hurt her and she ended up with stress colitis. Bouts of uncontrollable diarrhea, bloody stools, bloody farts... She was fine when I brought her there for her anal glands to be expressed, she's not been normal since it's now 10/14. Once again I had asked for a vet and was told NO. Honestly, nearly every time I call for something I'm told no to seeing a vet, so unless your pet is really ill they won't let you use that portion of the OWP. I'm not sure what the purpose of the OWP free vet visits are if you can't see an actual vet at your request. The OWP is a waste of money, I don't recommend. It's also inconsistent. I was told at one point you get discounts on grooming, well that's 50/50...same with a discount in the store. You get quoted one price in store but totally different online for things like flea & tick (FYI go Costco...best prices by a lot even with the OWP). We only did this plan bc I can't get insurance for Suki bc she was a rescue. Banfield Cranberry...I don't trust them, they hurt my baby, they aren't consistent when it comes to pricing. Nice ppl there for sure but lacking competence and the corporate structure keeps you from actually getting to see the vet when you request.
