  Needed an item for an failing elderly dog and had called to see if the item was indeed in-stock. The associate that helped me on the phone and then again in store was extremely helpful and kind.

  There was at least 7 leopard geckos in one tank with one small hide, which 5 were shoved inside, there was 2 albinos that were way smaller because all they had were mealworms in a bowl which albinos have a hard time seeing. They clearly aren’t getting enough food. One looked almost dead , and to make it worse there were 2 bigger ones and the rest were little. How are you doing to force us to buy your products at the “right” size when you guys don’t keep your animals in the same standards they should be in. The bearded dragons were in a smaller tank and there was 6 in one with no space to move around and there was one big bearded in his own tank also way way too small, and he was bigger and could barley move around, it is absurd that you are okay with keeping animals in this condition even if temporarily

  I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at the Vetco Vaccination Clinic held at the chambersburg Petco on today 2/12/26. While I came in specifically to get rabies and DHPP Vaccines for my dog, the staff member handling our intake was unprofessionally aggressive in pushing additional vaccines. Despite me clearly stating multiple times that I only wanted the service I came for, the employee continued to pester me and spoke to me in a condescending manner, making me feel "dumb" for my choices. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect, not pressured into services I have already declined. This experience was stressful for both me and my dog. I hope you will address this with the clinic team at this location to ensure other pet owners are treated with more professional courtesy in the future.

  Bought 7 fish. Within a few hours 3 of the same type died. I called the store, it took three people to get an answer. Only to find out they do nothing if a fish dies immediately. Ps. My water quality was not the issue as it was tested. —Issue has been resolved. Totally happy with the outcome. Hunter was very helpful and professional.
