I have already made a private review which was responded to months later with apology and promise of financial compensation. What happened? Nothing. Let me give you the spark notes of our experience with the tualitin banfield. - forgot to feed our puppy during drop off appointments - forgot to mention that some of the appointments were drop off only, leaving my wife and I with a totally destroyed day - failed to test for concerns we had with multiple ailments, UTI, vulvaplasty and most recently an injured paw. -One of which cost us about $6k and counting. - they “denied and canceled“ our appointment after making it over the phone, requiring us to attend another appointment wasting our precious time and money once again Thank you banfield, your direct actions could have been resolved if you had tested for what we were fearful of, but everytime we come in we feel taken advantage of because we are first time pet owners. We feel totally trapped because of the optimum wellness plan and even trying to cancel this despite the issues we’ve had are still going to charge us to pay full price. We feel devastated, stuck, trapped and mostly heartbroken because our dog continues to be sick and we are out multiple thousands of dollars. Even with my private reviews, no member of Banfield has been able to come anywhere close to acknowledging our struggles and we continue to feel totally let down by this company and vet

- RGRyan GarrowSep 30, 20151.0This is one of the biggest pet health scans that exists. The small print if the billing locks you into a contract that literally must be cancelled on the perfect day. If it automatically renews and you miss cancelling, you're in for another year. Try to cancel and you've got yourself having to pay the year in full for no service. You can do better. Find a local vet with quality reviews and visit them when needed. I will never shop there or use their services again.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
