Consistently, more than half of the crickets in each container arrive dead or die shortly thereafter, rendering a significant portion unusable. Furthermore, small-sized crickets are rarely, if ever, available in the bagged options, severely limiting suitable choices for owners of juvenile reptiles. When I specifically sought small crickets for my juvenile gecko, I was informed that none were in stock. Staff then advised that medium crickets would be an acceptable substitute. Regrettably, these medium crickets were excessively large—exceeding the width of the gecko’s head—resulting in the gecko refusing to consume. Enhanced inventory management to ensure consistent availability of small crickets, improved viability of live stock, and more accurate sizing guidance from staff would significantly improve the experience for reptile owners.
