I took my cat in in September of 2025, her tooth fell out and they said she desperately needed a cleaning. They said they were booking for December but would not book me, they said they’d like her to lose weight, when I said I could get her to lose weight by December they said they’d had to see the weight drop before scheduling. In December I try to schedule for the soonest available which was march. But they said there was no doctor scheduled for march so I couldn’t actually get scheduled. In February I was able to schedule it for march. The day of her appointment I show up for drop off and they say they had a call out and can’t do surgery. I reschedule for two weeks later, I show up at 7am for drop off and they’re closed. It’s dark and nobody is there. I come back at 8 and they say that once again they don’t have a doctor. I have to reschedule AGAIN. for all these days I have to take the day off work with no pay. So that’s 2 full days I have to miss from work and now I have to take a third day off and who knows if the same thing will happen next week. I know call outs are out of their control but it feels like they have extremely unreliable staff. Getting my cat in the carrier takes forever and stresses her out a lot just to take her back home with no care. I’m also on their monthly plan that I have a one year commitment to so I can’t even chose to find a different vet because I’m stuck with this plan until September.

I adore Banfield + especially this location. Our Vet Tech who did Mia’s dental cleaning on 3/14 @ 7:15 AM (dark hair in a bun & green vet med sweatshirt) was amazing. I always come to appointments with loads of questions and lots of anxiety. She was so patient with my husband and I & even remembered Mia from seeing her once just a few months ago. I briefly worked as a VA in my early 20’s - so I know that clients coming in and taking up loads of time isn’t always ideal when you have a tight schedule, but she was incredibly professional, kind, and explained everything in a way that we could understand. Dentals are covered under our OHP plan that Banfield offers, so we only paid $75 for post-anesthesia comfort meds which were optional. Additionally, we get routine vaxes & other simple procedures included. This Banfield is also willing to work with anxious pups if anyone is looking for info on this! Mia is an incredibly anxious dog (non-aggressive), sometimes even turned away by groomers/vet offices because she urinates out of fear or hides behind my husband and I when staff try to approach her. Even without her pre-appt. anxiety meds, they’ve always been willing to see her which means so much to me. Even if they can only get 1-2 nails clipped, they always try to do what they can. I trust this place & their team wholeheartedly with my girl. :)
