However, during my visit on Tuesday, 02/24/26 around 2:00 PM ish, I had an interaction that was disappointing. I asked a female employee (I believe her name was Maiah or something similar) for the price of an item, and her demeanor made me feel as though I had inconvenienced her. She later checked us out as the cashier. At one point, she dropped one of the tortoises that was in a plastic container while assisting us. When I referred to it as a “turtle” while speaking to my client, she abruptly corrected me by saying “tortoise,” in a tone that felt unnecessarily rude and condescending. I want to emphasize that the other employees working that day were extremely kind and had wonderful personalities. This one interaction, however, stood out negatively. I simply wanted to share this feedback, as customer service is usually one of the reasons I enjoy shopping at your store. Thank you, Karin Pierce

I filled out all of the paperwork ahead of time with their breeds and ages/DOBs but the staff doing the microchipping ignored all of it and listed both of them by the wrong breed and wrong age. The microchip company won't change any of the information now because the vetco staff was too lazy to do it correctly. They also charged me more than the cost listed on the website.
