  I had a food order delayed and unfortunately my pup was out of food. Thankfully, the staff at my local Portland Petco is amazing and they worked with Petco's super helpful customer service to help me out! My pup Jelly got some cookie treats for some husky bowls too. They're always fantastic at this store!

  We have been going to the Glisan Petco Grooming salon with our Pomeranian on and off for years and have always had a good experience, especially for the price. Our senior Pomeranian got cut during a groom at a different salon a little over a year ago so we have scaled back on haircuts out of anxiety. Grooming him on our own has been difficult to master so when we brought him to Kenzie for a bath + haircut, I was nervous to be judged due to his scruffiness and that was so far from the case! Kenzie was incredibly kind and offered solutions and advice which was super helpful. We did a deshedding add on plus the groom and got a call close to the end letting us know our guy was having a hard time with the scissor part and Kenzie ended up doing a sani trim instead but explained things so clearly! I felt so comforted by her confidence and communication and willingness to follow Boba’s cues regarding stress. Boba ended up looking sooo cute and fresh in the end! I love that we were able to keep the length but also clear out all that stuck shedded hair. He is so soft, smells amazing, his little grinch feet and fluffy butt are nicely trimmed. I scheduled an appointment in a few weeks to just bathe and trim up what wasn’t possible plus keep him on a set schedule. Kenzie seriously was amazing and affirming. After him being cut previously, I was super anxious and now feel like I’ve got a regular groomer for my boy that I can truly trust to do what’s best for him. Thank you so much Kenzie! 🐻💖

  The staff are absolutely incredible. Josie always does Cole’s grooming and he adores her. I really appreciate all of the staff at this location.

  Josephine is so sweet to Winston and he goes with her willingly. She does great work and we like her - thats why we always schedule with her.

  Filled out everything — did everything they told me to. I have a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel— 50% of these dogs have heart issues when they’re born —that rises to 90% by age 10. They said no cavalier they’ve ever worked with has had a heart murmur. I highly doubt that. they were extremely rude when I walked in. Amazingly dismissive. They didn’t have anything on the 30 minutes of material I had to fill out online — and get my records for —to indicate that they wouldn’t take the dog if he had a mild heart murmur. They wasted my time for the day and theirs by letting me get all the way in and then rudely telling me there’s no way they would accept the dog. do better or hire better staff. Will tell everyone I know not to use this store or grooming department.
