Rose City Dogs – Cully offers tailored play for big and small dogs. Large pups enjoy spacious yards and small group play, while little dogs under 30 lbs relax in a cozy, low-stress environment designed just for them.
Leahland, his son & team have been so beyond fantastic in taking care of my pups when I need to board them. They've loved & taken care of my dogs, been flexible w/ dates for boarding & are truly the most professional yet personal dog grooming/boarding home. Mama & Coco also love going there which makes boarding them a truly stress free experience.

The last time I took my dog there she did not even want to get out of the car. It was either her third or fourth time there and I didn't know what to make of that, but I left her there and she was kicked out for fighting. I was told they can't trust her. My question is, how do you, as a dog professional, see that a dog is anxious, aggressive, uncomfortable, -however you may want to characterize it- , see it "get into" two fights and not separate it before the third? My dog has never had issues before, except once in a private daycare where she was attacked and that sitter still works with her and loves her. I don't know what to make of this situation, but I wish I had taken her seriously that day and not left her there. I don't want to disparage this business, as they seem to be very kind and I didn't have any issues the previous times, but I think they need to maybe have a bit more training or something.

Do not bring your dog here. Our husky puppy has thrived in numerous environments and dog parks with zero issue. He goes to another local daycare multiple times a week with zero issues. My partner and I were looking for a weekend location and left him for a few hours. . He came back traumatized. we explicitly stated he is not kennel trained and gets severe anxiety. It was left in a note via his online profile and verbally communicated. They told us no problem and they don’t use them by default. We picked up our puppy after 6 hrs and they said he had been kenneld 3 times. This is not a safe space and if he needed breaks, it should have been in another room or communicated beforehand. We would have sooner picked him up. The main reason we selected this place is they advertised a “cage free” environment. We are highly disappointed and won’t be back.

My dog has recently started daycare here and did his bath with Sierra and he came out so clean and happy.

As a fellow dog professional, I am very particular when it comes to who I trust to care for my own dogs. Rose City Dogs has been grooming my Golden Retriever mix, Brad, now for the last 9 months. He's seen a couple of their groomers, both at the Broadway and Cully locations; they've always done an excellent job, they're timely, kind, and fairly priced. I definitely recommend and do recommend them to many of my clients! Thanks for being a great resource to the Portland community!
