Bagel, our 3-year old Beagle had her vaccinations and any other current preventive
care covered by our Optimum Wellness Plan recently and we are grateful for the peace of mind we have that she is up to date and healthy.

Fairly uncaring company. They really only care about money and not you or your pets. Employees are nice but this is a terrible company to work with. I’d recommend almost any other vet clinic.

The pros: All the staff at my location have been very nice, especially front desk and the techs. Thank you for all of your care with my cats.
Access to appointments, urgent and otherwise, was easy.
Everyone was very kind when we had to put our cat down and the process was mostly smooth and empathetic.
The cons:
READ THE FINE PRINT OF THE WELLNESS PLAN BEFORE YOU SIGN. ESPECIALLY FOR SENIOR/ILL CATS THAT MAY DIE.
This part is my fault for not asking/reading the fine print but please use me as a warning. If your pet dies while on a wellness plan, you will still need to pay for the plan after their death or pay off the balance you have. You cannot transfer the plan to another (living) animal.
I will also echo other reviewers and say that communication is not good. I had to call every week for several weeks to ask for updates on the status of surgery for my kitty with an eye tumor. No one ever called me back or told me that no surgeon was willing to touch it. I had to figure that out on my own.
You see a different vet every time you go, which would be fine normally but no one reads past history within their own system so it's like starting over every time.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
