I have a high needs older kitty who developed epilepsy 5 years ago. Dr. Gerritsen and Dr. Vieira have both been amazing over the entire time including making extra calls to another veterinary neurologist for a consult when she first developed seizures. Both vets know her and are consistently caring, straightforward in their recommendations, and follow up with calls and further information. I would give the location 5 stars just for them.
The office staff have been inconsistent over the years and I agree with a number of the other reviews here stating that it can be difficult to get through via phone, sometimes the voice mail message is a bizarre infinite loop, a few have been unhelpful in a variety of ways. Sometimes the lobby and office were pretty dirty with pet hair etc. I will say, that my most recent visit last month there was a new office manager who seemed very much on top of things. I sensed that she was there to whip things into shape. She was efficient, experienced, and very helpful. I felt great about my interactions with her.
Bottom line: We take our kitty in once a month for arthritis shots (which have been amazing for her) and the care from the vets has always outweighed any frustrations of dealing with the office staff.

They won't let you cancel your subscription if your pet dies! You will keep getting a monthly charge to remind you of of your painful loss. Do they need to? No. Do they care? No. Straight up evil.
After 9 great years I had to put my cat down earlier this month; she was the sweetest cat I'd ever owned. Obviously I was heartbroken. The staff at Banfield were wonderful throughout the death process. This 1 star review is for the corporate ownership who clearly only care about the bottom line and not a grieving pet owner. I had been on the Wellness + plan for years as my cat needed occasional dental work, which just renewed in November. When I contacted Banfield to cancel the policy after my cat died, they told me I needed to pay the remaining 9 months of the Wellness Plan, despite the fact that my cat is no longer alive to be seen and treated. I was flabbergasted - their reasoning was because I had used the plan benefits (procedure discounts, office visits) for 3 months, so I needed to pay the full plan amount. I obviously wouldn't have signed up for the full year if I knew my cat was going to die so soon. To top it off, my cat was too sick to receive any dental care so I never used the "Plus" part of my plan. I asked if they would at least lower the regular Wellness plan but apparently their "system doesn't allow that". I feel taken advantage of in a time of grief. When your pet dies, it feels evil to keep charging grieving owners for services they obviously won't be using. Now I'll get a painful reminder of my loss every month when I see the monthly Wellness charge hit my credit card. I understand this is a business and cancelling a plan would normally require paying the full year, but the death of a pet feels like this should be an obvious exception. I'm leaving my multi-year experience with Banfield with a very sour taste and I do not recommend anyone give their money to this company; it's clear they will do anything they can to suck more money from you before you go.

Do not get the wellness plan and overall the company is just a scummy place. If you get the wellness plan there’s absolutely no reason to because when you need to cancel, everything that you got discounted gets charged back to you. So even if your pet literally dies you have to pay everything back. Also to even cancel you have to go through an incredibly annoying process of calling multiple numbers just for all of them to send you to the same one that never answers. I’m very disappointed that this horrible business practice isn’t more talked about.

Had to make a review because I was skeptical about going here I’ve heard in the past they were not great. Everywhere else was closed besides emergency places, but this wasn’t an emergency. I actually had a great experience! My pet started acting kind of weird and I got an appointment extremely fast! The vet was very nice and answered all of my questions kindly and in detail! I would definitely take Miso back here :) the prices were very reasonable too!

We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
