I was recommended aquarium salt, and I asked specifically if it was safe for snails and shrimp, she said YES. In fact she said she has fish and shrimp too and they love it. Got home and after a single use all my snails died. Did one google search to find out that aquarium salt is not safe for snails at all. I regret not looking it up sooner, but I was told it was safe and trusted the aquatic expert. If you don’t know something then say you don’t know, don’t give false information. Do not trust anyone selling you products here, at least for aquatic animals.
