Great place for pet care but much more cost effective with a pet plan!

Brought in a dog I found starving & abandoned in the woods to get a check up & rabies shot so I could have her spayed and find her a home. They knew this and her story but decided to reported me to the county for having an unregistered pet… I now have a court date and $150 fine to resolve just because I took a hungry and abandoned animal into this vet for care.

⭐️ Warning to Other Pet Owners – I Would Give Zero Stars if I Could Do not trust Banfield with your pet’s health or your money. I brought my dog in months ago with what looked like a simple bug bite on his ear. I was told it was a hematoma and would go away on its own. No mention was made of what to do if it didn’t clear up. When it didn’t, they suddenly weren’t sure what it was anymore and wanted to run expensive imaging and testing. After doing my own research, I discovered it could be a simple bacterial infection. I bought a $15 spray, and within days it was almost completely healed — no thanks to Banfield. On top of this, I signed up for their Wellness Plan because it was supposed to cover neutering. I confirmed multiple times that the plan covered the procedure — even the day before the appointment. I dropped my dog off at 7:30 a.m., signed all the paperwork, and was told everything was set. Ten minutes after leaving, I got a call saying neutering wasn’t covered after all, and they wanted to charge me an outrageous out-of-pocket price. Every visit has been full of conflicting advice and misdiagnoses. One vet says hematoma, another says cancer, another wants to run a battery of tests, while others dismiss it completely. Some vets insisted my dog be neutered immediately, while others told me to wait 12–18 months. The lack of consistency, accountability, and care is shocking. Meanwhile, another clinic has since confirmed that my dog should have been neutered months ago to avoid behavioral issues — something Banfield failed to guide us through responsibly. I have completely lost trust in Banfield. They seem far more interested in pushing unnecessary procedures and racking up charges than actually helping animals. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and wasted money. Take your pet anywhere else.
