Receptionist needs better training. Not kind at all when approached, she just looked like she hated her life and didn’t want to be there. I understand you’re thrown a bunch of different / difficult situations but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be welcoming. I believe it is important to have a better attitude as a receptionist since you’re setting the tone for an already stressful situation when people are bringing in their pets that need help or for anyone having a genuine question.

My cat has a permanent urinary imbalance, she has a prescription for necessary prescription food. For some stupid reason, Banfield/Petsmart requires me to update her prescription EVERY 6 MONTHS.... For a PERMANENT CONDITION.
It's bad enough we have to deal with this shit around human health care, but now I have to do it for my cat.
Avoid Banfield/Petsmart at all cost. Order online (not petsmart) to save yourself a world of headaches.

Banfield has always been helpful with our animals. Always willing to explain in detail what’s going on and what they will do during your pets stay. Very open about costs and will send out multiple communications leading up to your pets visit as well as during and after, they check in to make sure all is still well.

The worst vet in the country. Never go there, save your pet. Cheap care is not worth it. I also wanted to add....banfield doesn't care and only wants your money. Don't be fooled by their fake customer facing email address.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
