- BVBrittany Vasilios2 days ago3.0I’m giving 3 stars because the front desk lady is extremely kind and welcoming. The DR on the other hand had a condescending attitude towards me. I only went a couple times for vaccines and I don’t know if it’s because I’m really young with a “high risk” dog breed or what the deal was. I honestly have no clue. He kinda acted like I was dumb and when telling me how to care for the dog after vaccines he said “that’s an order not an option” in a stern tone. I was so taken back by that. He should never talk to anyone like that, especially when I’m paying you. Young or not, I’m not naive. I never returned after that experience and I continue to receive messages that my dog is past his shot dates. I could care less. Respect goes a long way and for him, he’s lucky I didn’t cause a scene because I don’t tolerate any of that nonsense.

We have taken on several rescued dogs with challenging medical issues over the years. The care they provide our animals is top notch! Canby Veterinary is so good with explanations, helping us to understand the risks and benefits including monetary considerations of various courses of action, and through it all they are supportive and encouraging. I whole-heatedly recommend this business.
