  I contacted them by phone and email about a pet emergency. They couldn’t be bothered to respond to any messages. Pathetic.

  Was turned away this morning, because I was told they, "already had 3 emergencies ahead of me," as told to me by Stephanie. Last time I visited this clinic, (3 years ago), I had an argument with Stephanie, as I brought in a sickly baby Opossum, who was ill. She couldn't deal with me, (or another person with an ill pet), because HER COMPUTER WAS DOWN! I won't apologize for speaking out about it! Her is another example of blatant incompetence. This cute little animal has to suffer because she does not like the human attached to it? Feels like a slow suicide..

  I have had pet rats for years and SW Animal Hospital has always gone above and beyond to care for them. I owe a sincere thanks to Dr. Burgess, Stephanie, the amazingly talented and under-thanked vet techs, and everyone else at SW Animal Hospital for keeping all of my loved ones happy and healthy.   I know the guy is pretty much the only choice around for about 200 miles if you want someone knowledgeable in an array of exotics. His knowledge is better than anyone around now. Unfortunately his bedside manner a long time ago with some post op stuff on a skunk made me never want to see him again. I called to get some care done for another exotic, that already had xrays, had already been seen by a vet, wanted to have him perform procedure becuse my vet does not do surgery at all apparently? But he wouldnt do it with out an initial visit first rather than doing a consult. I live 5 hours away, I dont have time to be driving up for him to do a bs visit, the animal also did not have the time. She died before I would have gotten the appt anyway.
