- MFMatheus Iuri FrühaufFeb 23, 20261.0I scheduled a bath with the Essentials add-on (+$25) for my dog. There was absolutely no request for any shedding or de-shedding service. When I arrived to drop him off, I explicitly asked TWICE at the front desk that under no circumstances should they use a Furminator brush. I explained that my dog has a skin condition and that, as a Samoyed, his coat must not be cut or stripped of its undercoat for clinical and breed-specific reasons. The staff member assured me this would not happen. When I picked him up, they had done exactly what I had clearly asked them not to do. On top of that, I was charged an additional $30 for shedding services that I never requested or authorized. Even more concerning, my dog came back visibly distressed and extremely exhausted. He has always enjoyed grooming appointments and has never reacted this way before. I do not even like to imagine what he experienced. I would not recommend this place to anyone whose dog has special needs or requires specific handling instructions.
