I highly recommend this vet! They take great care of my corgis, and every visit is a good experience. Dr. Tackett is so kind, patient, and always takes the time to answer my questions. You can tell they truly care about the animals! š¾

Today I had to say goodbye to my 19-year-old cat, which is never an easy thing to face.
Even though the circumstances were heartbreaking, the staff at Poteau Valley Vet Hospital were incredibly compassionate, patient, and caring throughout the entire process. They treated both my cat and myself with dignity and kindness, and they truly made a very difficult moment as peaceful as it could possibly be. Highly recommend!

I will never be coming back to the clinic again. I took my rescue puppy there a month ago, because she was having diarrhea with blood but was still in good spirits. They insisted on getting her tested for parvo. So I allowed it. and they told me she had a āfaint positiveā result of parvo. I thought it was odd but I treated her with all the medicine they gave me. That visit costed me almost $300. A couple weeks ago I took her back to get her a parvo booster shot. They told me it was going to cost $37 and when I went to pay, it was almost $90. For one vaccine I paid almost $90. I brought it to their attention and they said they had to charge for a mandatory doctors visit. The doctor saw her for 3 minutes and they charged me $50. Today we discovered my poor puppy has tapeworms. Please do your job right and ask questions. A faint positive and the fact she was in very good spirits besides the other symptoms shouldāve indicated to that vet that maybe there was something else wrong with her. Why did you never consider this as an issue? Why didnāt you ask me if she was dewormed more than once? My poor puppy has been suffering for weeks because of a misdiagnosis.
