  My first time at PETCO Norman: I was watching a friend's daughter and we had been at Petsmart to go look at animals. Afterwards, we came to PETCO to look at their animals. My oldest daughter had brought in our newly adopted Bernedoodle for his first grooming at PETCO earlier that day, so when we got there, we had asked what time they thought they might start on our dog so we could get a glimpse of his grooming before I had to take her back home. We walked around the store looking at all of the animals and greeting owners that brought their dogs in for grooming. She had picked out a dog treat for our dog and we went over to the counter to let her see our dog for a few minutes before purchasing it and heading out. The lady grooming her was visibly upset about something and she was talking loudly to her fellow groomers. At some point, one of them came out and said that he would be done in an hour or so. I said, okay thank you. We are just watching for a min. She said okay, sometimes people rush them to get done. I said, oh no. We just wanted to watch a bit. Then a few min later, another groomer came out to talk to me, not knowing someone else had already come out to talk to me. She said the same thing and I replied with the same answer and then telling her that we would like to purchase this dog treat the little girl picked out for him. I look up and I was able to read the lips of the staff member grooming our dog and I realized that we had been the reason for her behavior. So, I was guided to another counter to purchase the dog treat.We left and drove to a park. My oldest daughter came in to PETCO when she was notified that he was done. I had not shared my experience with her. She paid for the grooming and left a $20 tip. However, we were all taken a back at the result of the grooming. We don't understand why his tail was left looking like a feather duster. Not sure we will be going back.

  We had a great experience! Our dog Percy is nervous and anxious about everything, but they took great care of her.

  I wish i could give them a 0! I took my two dogs to get groomed. They always get groomed by Tina but since Tina is on leave I booked an appointment with Bailly. They bathed and after the bath one of my dogs didn't like Bailly for some reason and apparently bit her. she is 9 years old and has never had this problem with any other groomer. They called me to come get them! It's funny that they didn't even try to groom my other dog ​​because they thought she would bite too. The unacceptable part is that they said I should pay for the bath, when the bath was not the service I wanted, and if they couldn't provide the full service I shouldn't have to pay for the part they wanted to do. On top of all this, the behavior of the person named Heater was extremely unprofessional, aggressive and rude. she has no right to tell me whether I have the right to return to a store that doesn't belong to her. Although I moved both the veterinary service and the grooming to a much better and more professional place. petco is the worse place to take your babies to.

  I would recommend Stephanie to anyone who is looking for great service! You can tell she cares about the work she does and about the animals most of all. Jasper is always so happy when he comes home from his grooming appointments!

  Each time my puppy goes for grooming, the time until finished seems to be longer. Even with an appointment the time is four hours or more. This past visit after five hours I called and was told she had been ready for an hour, but nobody had notified me. Needless to say, I was extremely unhappy. I'm paying $90+ for trimming and bathing a 9 pound puppy, which seems to be on the expensive side, to say nothing of the time frame that the puppy is in the kennel waiting to be groomed.
