- AZAmirah ZulkifliNov 3, 20251.0Setting the appointment was fairly easy, but I have trouble contacting them for further clarification. I am transporting my cat from Oklahoma to Malaysia. I was able to complete all the paperwork required except for the health certificate. Everything was done more than a month in advance. The vet kept on waiting to submit an application for the Health Certificate worried that they haven’t done enough when I have repeatedly said that it is. They only submitted it after I made numerous international calls and they finally get the clarification from the Malaysian department confirming the same thing that I have told them. They didn’t believe me despite the fact that I have done all my due diligence prior to all of that. It was only submitted 5 days prior to her flight! Now, I fear she will miss the flight solely due to not receiving the health certificate in time. Edit: She has officially missed her flight due to this oversight. This could have been avoided if they submitted the health certificate in a timely manner. I am extremely disappointed as it required alot of my time and money. I spent over $2200 which are non-refundable. Due to this, I will now have to resort for manifest cargo (really expensive) and redo the health certificate. I am paying from a lower currency which means I’m paying 4 times the amount in my currency. I have not heard anything from Vetco nor the group and there seems to be no urgency. There’s a lack of accountability on the implications of this delay.
