My pup Ellie loves Katie. She is always so kind and gentle with her. They have seen each other since she was 20 weeks old and she is 3 years old now!

I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a pet store during my visit to Petco. Not only was the staff unprofessional and rude to me, but they also mishandled and mistreated my dog. The way they spoke to me was dismissive and offensive, and instead of offering patience or care, they acted like we were a burden. What upset me most was how they treated my dog. Pets should always be handled gently and respectfully, but my dog was treated with zero compassion or care. It was clear they had no regard for his comfort or well-being, and as a pet parent, that is completely unacceptable. I left feeling disrespected, upset, and deeply concerned that this location has people working with animals who lack both kindness and professionalism. Pet owners trust Petco to care for our animals, not to mistreat them. I will never bring my dog back here, and I strongly warn other pet parents to avoid this location.

I’ve used petco for 3 yrs. Always had a good experience with all the different locations I’ve used. Always have good reports about my pup. Took my dog to the Edmond OK location . Groomer called me to pick up and says my dog bit her and he is now banned from that location. I asked to see where he bit her and if she was ok. She said there were no marks or broken skin and that it was actually a nip, so maybe she could have been turning his foot in a way that was uncomfortable? I would let you know about it too!!! So why tell me he aggressively bit her???! The cut has lines from clippers going in all different directions and some patches where it is longer. It does look like she completely got him groomed, so if you got bit why would you not stop and have me come pick him up right away?? I’ve never had any reports of biting or has my dog ever bitten anyone. Maybe you will have a better experience there.

Very horrible experience.i tried three times and each time with incident from cutting my dog to not finishing the job because they forgot they closed early to extremely rude treatment and fear my dog was mistreated.i wanted to use them due to conventit location but have given up unless new management or all new groomers.i was charged extra for matting and my dogs were not matted.they wear shirts or sweaters to decrease matting.i was told i waited too long to bring them in,my dogs were hard to handle and if they behaved badly I would be referred out.they weigh 3 pds and 7pds and I have never been told they have behaviors.honestly I felt I was being pranked.i left 160.00 poorer for two dogs and they didn’t even clean one of my dogs eyes.horrible experience.this was Petco in Bryant square

I usually have a decent experience with little incident, but unfortunately I will not be back to the groomer, and initially not by my choice. I had booked my long haired German shepherd’s grooming appointment 1 1/2weeks in advance knowing that I would need to update her vaccines. I was able to get my dog vaccinated (on a Friday) at PETCO allowing enough time to meet their 24-48hr waiting period prior to my dogs (Sunday) grooming appointment . She really needed the appointment due to her long coat being in full shed. She did have some matting in her tail, hind legs, and behind her ears which is her normal since she had began coming here 4 years prior. This appointment time was at 3pm (not my first choice but what was available). When I arrived, I was advised that we’d need to reschedule due to them running a bit behind, and that they would need additional time for her. I made some work arrangements to make this appointment happened so I was upset about the last minute change. My dogs rescheduled appointment came up the next week and I even dropped off (hours) early to assure they had plenty of time. I came in to pick up my dog and was told that they would be “have to refer her out” and that she would no longer be able to be groomed there due to her behavior. When I inquired further on her behavior, and if she was biting (which she had no history of), I was told no but that she had kicked the groomer in the face and had high anxiety. She advised that I give her a calming tablet (which I knew nothing about). They shaved off all of her fur (which I am not bothered by) saying it would have not looked very good with the amount of missing spots from knotting. No fleas/ticks/other now or ever an issue for her. There was nothing more to be discussed, so I simply paid and left highly disappointed.
