Nice to have convenient and close same day vet appointments. But made an appointment and they still went first come first served. Tech was rude and snippy without bothering to ask background info first. For the cost, not worth it.

appreciate the convenience and affordability of the Petco Vaccination Clinic concept—it’s a great idea for pet owners looking to stay on top of their pet’s health. However, our recent experience left a lot to be desired. We had an appointment scheduled for 3:35 PM but weren’t seen until nearly an hour later, at 4:30 PM. We were understanding of the delay since there were only two staff members working, but the check-in process was unpleasant. The person checking us in clearly seemed overwhelmed and had an attitude that made an already long wait feel even more frustrating. When we finally got in, everything felt rushed. Our pet was a bit scared and hesitant to take the medication, but there was little patience or support due to the pressure of the long line. We were basically told to administer the meds ourselves and quickly move along. We love the idea behind the clinic, and it has potential to be a great resource. That said, we’d strongly prefer more organization, better staffing, and a more compassionate experience—especially when dealing with nervous pets.
