- BHBetsy HatfieldNov 15, 20255.0We have a 2 year, very large, Shepard/Huskey (Asher). We were having LOTS of behavioral issues with him. We just couldn't get him to listen. We were referred by a friend to Vaycay 9. We opted for the 3 week training program. Brian has worked wonders with Asher, and he is teaching us how to be better dog parents. Asher responds really well to Brian and loves going there. We are still working together to make Asher the best dog he can be, as he is quite stubborn and opinionated... lol. We are very happy to be on this journey with Vaycay 9. Thanks for your kindness and patience with our big boy!

Brian is absolutely phenomenal with Maverick and he's NIGHT AND DAY different compared to before the course. We just had our first follow up training session and Maverick is absolutely crushing it. Would recommend Vacay 9 to ANYONE needing their dog trained. I fully plan to book additional courses available from Vacay 9. They treat you like family from the minute you walk in the door and offer PURE EXCELLENCE as far as training goes even for a young pup ! Can't wait to continue and 1000% is the best money ever spent (other than getting Maverick of course HAHA). There aren't enough words to describe how happy I am with the results and it's only going up from here!

They even taught him a few fun tricks that he can show off with. He's always the hit of a gathering. Thanks vacay9 you taught Buddy how to be his best self. And you taught me how to be his best pack leader!!
- JWJennifer WaltonSep 28, 20255.0Vacay 9 came highly recommended to me by Dog Day Every Day! Brian is a miracle worker with dogs! I have taken not 1 but 2 to him for his 3 weeks Board and Train program! When I took Lola to Brian back in 2021, I was completely skeptical about being able to teach an “old” (5) dog new tricks! The patience Brian has with each and every dog is truly remarkable! He asks in depth questions to identify what issues you are having and develops a training plan and moves at the dogs pace. The communication while having your dog in his care is top notch as well! He works with each human to teach them what to expect from their dog and how to continue the process at home! I was so impressed with the work and results with Lola that I took my 2nd dog, Sozo to him as well this year for the Board and Train program! Sozo, a young but giant Golden Retriever had started hurting me when he jumped on me. I couldn’t break him of it despite trying! Brian was able to teach Sozo not to jump on people! Now, when asked Sozo gently jumps up for a hug! Remember I said he moves at the dog’s pace? During the 2nd week of the 3 week Board and Train, Brian reached out to let me know that Sozo was doing very well, moving faster than other dogs and I should consider e-collar training. I took Brian’s lead and Sozo is still learning the e-collar but he’s making such progress! Lola passed away in March and Sozo was struggling to be an only dog. So, we now have Miro, who is 5 months old and is a biological brother to Sozo! They are 14 months apart. Today, a Sunday, I went to buy a prong collar for Miro and had questions. I sent a text to Brian, not expecting an answer until business hours, but I got my questions answered! Miro, will be doing the 3 week Board and Train program in the new year! I may have been skeptical in 2021, but Brian and staff have done a fantastic job with both Lola and Sozo! I highly recommend Vacay 9 for all your training needs!
- LHLiz HeetSep 26, 20255.0Brian is an incredible trainer! We have been bringing our Doberman, Zeke, to Brian for a few years now! We have done the 21 day board and train, E Collar training, and we have boarded him while going on family vacations. Dobermans can be clingy to their people, so we are so happy Zeke loves Brian and coming to Vacay9. Brian has helped us through challenges and built up our relationship even more with Zeke! As soon as you meet Brian, you will understand why we love him so much. We appreciate you Brian!! Thank you for all you have done for us and for Zeke!
