Our appointment was at 5:15pm, no one came in until 5:45pm. We even arrived 20 minutes early. Once they came in the appointment only took 10 minutes. The staff was very nice, it would have been nice to at least be notified that they were running behind.

The staff @ Wadsworth location (ALL the gals) and Dr Stanek were absolutely wonderful! They took the time to explain things thoroughly. Incredibly sweet and thoughtful during a very difficult time. Velvet, my sweet girl, trusted and loved them all and I know they loved her and really took great care of her. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness, knowledge, and support.

I had an appointment scheduled for 9:15 a.m. and arrived about five minutes early. The front desk staff was friendly and polite, and I was promptly taken to an exam room. The veterinary technician who assisted me was kind, professional, and thorough. She took my cat to be examined and returned her shortly after. By 10:15 a.m., I was still waiting to see Dr. Tracy Stanek-Krutel. I had another appointment to get to, so I went to the front desk to ask if I could reschedule. The receptionist said she would have the doctor come in. When Dr. Stanek-Krutel entered the room, her demeanor was abrupt and condescending. I explained that I could stay another 15 minutes to review my cat’s concerns, but she stated that would not be enough time. She noted that my cat had gained one pound since her last visit but was still underweight, implying she may be underfed. This was surprising, as during an appointment two months prior, she never indicated any weight concerns. Visually, my cat appears healthy and well-fed. I have no issue increasing her food if she is truly underweight, but the manner in which this information was presented felt unnecessarily harsh and judgmental. Dr. Stanek-Krutel also mentioned a few other minor health concerns and said someone from her office would schedule a follow-up call. I again apologized for needing to leave and offered to stay briefly to discuss further, but she declined, stating she would call later in the day instead. She did call later that day, but the conversation merely repeated the same information shared during our brief in-person exchange. The call lasted 13 minutes—ample time that could have been used during my original appointment. This was not my first negative interaction with Dr. Stanek-Krutel, but I wanted to give her another chance. Unfortunately, this experience confirmed my earlier concerns. After reading other reviews, it’s clear that several clients have experienced similar issues with her dismissive and disrespectful tone. While I sincerely appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the front desk staff and veterinary technician, my interactions with Dr. Stanek-Krutel have been disappointing. I left feeling dismissed and disrespected, and we will not be returning. I hope the practice takes this feedback seriously and addresses the consistent concerns being raised by clients.
