Banfield documented that my cat had dental issues for multiple years but never actually said anything to me about it. I went to a different vet and they said she needs two teeth pulled. I would have handled this years ago if they had told me.

I’ve only ever had a positive experience working with this location of Banfield, the vets and techs and front desk staff are super helpful and showered my pets with their love. Whenever I had questions about things that came up they were really reassuring!
As a note for the greater Banfield company services, I would be hesitant doing the wellness plans - it’s a great deal at first until you realize you can’t get out of it without paying a lot of money, super super stressful. It was really helpful the first year of having a pup or kitten with all the vaccines but I definitely wouldn’t do it after that.

Been going for years and couldn't even get an appointment. They are just way too busy at 3 different locations.

Called to make an appointment for my cat to have his BP checked due to having a cardiac issue. The girl that answered the phone seemed very flustered telling me they couldn’t see him today. I explained that was fine because I wanted to make a Saturday appointment. She told me she had to get to a computer and put me on hold. I then stayed on hold for 9 minutes before I hung up. I called the Grove City location and was able to make an appointment right away. I guess the reviews are right about the Upper Arlington location….they don’t seem to be too fond of cats and keep you on hold for long times.

I have been coming to this place for my cat for years with the Banfield plan but they are awful now! No cat litter set up in the crate for a drop off appointment, which took them six hours! My cat peed and pooped in the crate on herself. They were complaining all the time that the cat was hissing so they can not touch. But kept the cat in crate like this for six hours is not even humane and is very unprofessional. Not recommended at all, and I have decided to switch to other pet hospitals.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
