  They confirmed my appointment and then the morning of the doctor called off so they had to reschedule my cats appointment, I get we are human and things happen, but my cat shouldn’t be punished because you guys don’t have enough staff. They can’t transfer the appointment to a different location and they can’t guarantee that I’ll get an appointment the same day. 0/10 I would find a vet that cares about your pets because this place isn’t it

  Dr. Caitlin Nicole West gave a medication called Pyrantel Pamoate to my dog without asking for permission. The first time this happened last year I let it go... my dog then lost his fur again from this medication. This is the 2nd time this has happened that my dog was given a medication without my consent. We talked about the vaccines, but never this one medication. I am confused why this medication was left out of the conversation. When I had called later, Dr West had no empathy, they did not even an apology. I told the doctor that I was afraid of my dog having seizures and losing his fur again. Dr West just kept repeating even though this medication comes with your package "I will make a note not at the top of the file not to give it". It is standard medical procedure to let the patients know what sort of medications are going to be given. The staff and other medical professionals are great there. I am disappointed in Dr West's inability to show compassion for an obvious mistake that was made. People make mistakes but it's how you handle the mistake and I wish Dr West was more professional and compassionate considering they work with animals. I also wanted to share, that the other vet I had in Columbus advised me not to give these medications to Waffles due to his adverse reactions. I am not sure why Dr West is treating their advice as taboo, I am not against vaccines, just the evidence of the reactions my dog has shown in the past to certain medications. I am not trying to be difficult, I just want the best care for my dog and not all care looks the same for every dog.

  Excellent service, every time. My dogs get top notch care at this location. I used to go to forest park, but I could tell they don't like Pits because they were always incredibly standoffish to me and my dogs. So I started going to upper Arlington and the care has been stellar ever since!
