  Terrible experience we wanted to purchase a leopard gecko an the 10 gallon starter tank kit for geckos that petco sells an we were told by an employee that was helping us that we had to purchase the 40 gallon breaded dragon starter kit because the 10 gallon starter gecko kit was not big enough for the gecko an would not give us a 30 day grantee on the animal even purchased the live crickets an worms to go with it

  Bought some fish and shrimp for my tank. The female employee that helped was very sweet. However, either the price tags were misleading, or I was overcharged. The cherry shrimp tag said $3.99 each. I was charged $4.99 for six of them. Then the yellow shrimp said $4.99 but I was charged $5.99 for four of those. Unfortunately, I live thirty minutes away so I didn’t want to drive all the way back to check. I will be more vigilant next time!

  Got a new Fur Baby!! I love my new addition!! The staff was knowledgeable and made sure I had a proper home for her and we got a good natural food it was their brand and that is what I am sticking with!! Clean store everything was in stock. Just a great experience overall!!

  Honestly, I’m a regular customer and Ive been pretty decently satisfied since I’ve been coming here for years. Unfortunately in the last year or so I’ve kinda slowed down on my purchases and only get my litter there unless I find a good deal because I was mainly there for my reptile. The worms are almost always half dead or spewing liquid now so I stopped getting them. The reason I’m giving a one star review however is because of the bathroom. Like I said, I’ve been a customer for years- but never really went into the bathroom before today. I’m usually the type to not care if a bathroom is dingy as long as I could wash my hands. This was not the case because the toilet seat and down the front was covered in obviously old urine and feces. The floor had dried up pools of yellowish brown behind the toilet and there was urine quite literally on almost every surface around the toilet. Honestly if you can’t clean a public restroom, at least close it to the public. I feel like I caught some sort of cootie in there. I do have a picture
