- JMJennifer MassartAug 8, 20251.0I made appointments for my two dogs on Friday August 8 at 3:45. I provided the groomer with the required paperwork to show both dogs are up to date on their rabies shots. It seemed as though the groomer was trying to find any excuse not to groom my dogs. She said one didn't have an expiration date on the paperwork even though it clearly showed the date she was vaccinated and it was a 3 year rabies shot....not good enough for her so she refused to groom her. The second dog is a rescue that I've had for about 4 months and was 10lbs over what I expected him to be. I put down he was large and she said he was an extra large. I said I would pay the extra but she refused saying she has a bad back. So she can lift 80lb with a bad back but not 90....got it. She didn't even greet the dogs when we came in, didn't even act like she even liked dogs. Do better Petco!
- LMLinda MahlerAug 7, 20251.0I walk in to have my 6 mth old puppy's nail trimmed . When I walked in I witnessed an irate groomer on your staff cussing and mistreating a yellow lab . This groomer was being loud . Yelling obscene language. She continued this behavior for at least 20- 30 minutes . She didn't seem bothered that I was standing there . She was using the f word numerous times . Yanking and pulling on this dog's legs . Screaming at the dog. Yelling cause she didn't like doing large dogs first thing inthe morning . Cussing continued during her rant, pulling on this poor dog's paws . The dog sat there tail wagging .Never once was aggressive or tried to bite her . He seemed in distress over her rant and the fact he was over weight & having trouble standing while she was trimming his nails . The other groomer was trying to cover up the behavior of this girl . She was trying to be professional. She did trim my dog's nail . I told her that abusive groomer isn't aloud to touch my 3 lb puppy . Another customer entered the area to pick his dog up and was also shocked to hear this groomer's behavior . I wish I would've video taped this incident . Her name was Taylor at the Sandusky OH Petco .She should be fired and charged w/animal abuse .
