My father-in-law had been looking after a stray Siamese cat before he passed away. The cat’s original owner had died six weeks earlier, leaving it abandoned outdoors. After three days of trying, I was finally able to safely catch the cat and get it into a carrier. We were only in town from Texas for the funeral and were running out of time. This was our last night to help this poor little cat. We called multiple vets, but everything was either closed, fully booked, or unwilling to squeeze us in. We were turned away again and again until Ward’s Corner. They immediately told us they would wait for us and literally met us at the door when we arrived. They walked us through every option with such kindness—no pressure, no rushing—just true care. The doctor took the time to talk through the full blood panel I elected for and what was recommended. Kitty received a full exam, a clean bill of health, vaccines, and the treatments needed to safely bring her indoors with my mother-in-law. Thanks to Ward’s Corner answering the call, this cat now has a second chance at life and a loving home. I am certain she wouldn’t have survived much longer otherwise. I cannot recommend Ward’s Corner Vet Hospital enough. They are compassionate, professional, and clearly dedicated to saving animals and supporting families during tough moments. We are forever grateful.
