  We love Healthy Pets of Lewis Center. The staff is so kind and Dr Kaplan is one of the nicest people on the planet. You can tell she loves the animals she cares for. We would not be able to handle the trials we’ve been through without such an amazing staff.

  My beardie had never been to a vet before but I was pretty confident that she had a fungal disease that can be fatal. Healthy pets gor me in the same day and got my baby girl taken care of. The Dr. was knowledgeable and friendly and my pet eas not stressed at all. I thought the prices were reasonable and appreciated not feeling like I was asked to purchase a bunch of unnecessary things, they simply took care of my pet and had us on our way.

  We bring our dog here and the vet is great. The staff is friendly. They didn’t go straight to expensive tests which was nice. They loved on our girl just like we do. And we got a same day Saturday regular ‘ill’ visit (not expensive urgent care).

  I was grateful Healthy Pets Lewis Center was able to schedule me for a same day visit with a vet since I was very concerned about what was going on with my dog Bruce. Dr. Kaplan and her assistants were wonderful with Bruce and great at explaining to me what was going on with him and the treatment they recommended going forward. A pleasure from start to finish, and didn't cost as much as I had feared it might. Bruce is all better now. Thanks!

  I personally do not recommend taking your pet here. Earlier this year we took our dog for a routine checkup and to get her teeth looked at. For reference, she’s a small breed that suffers from dental issues because of her genetics. We brush her teeth nearly every day, put droplets in her water, powder in her food, etc., we’re fighting an uphill battle. So we brought her here to establish a new vet and get her teeth cleaned, like we’ve done yearly at other vets. However, when we asked the vet if she needed a teeth cleaning, they said no. Her mouth smelled bad though, so we took her for a second opinion. Turns out she had periodontal disease in the front of her mouth and needed 7 teeth removed. She was in pain and discomfort the whole time. It really angers me that the expert didn’t catch this. Please take your pet somewhere else. Really glad we got that second opinion.
