- EGEmily GodfreyNov 9, 20251.0Been taking my dogs here for over 8 years. Most the time it's a good experience but yesterday my drop off time was at 10am for my 8 year old dog. I waited all day for a phone call to pick her up. Never got one. At 5pm I went in to check on her and they said she still hasn't been seen that drop offs get worked in. They close at 6pm so this is unacceptable! You can't leave a 8 year old dog in a cage for this long. They said she wasn't due any shots just a physical. It shouldn't have taken that long just to "see" my dog! The front desk girl Heather is not helpful and extremely rude. I honestly dread when she's working the front desk and I have to deal with her. The drive is 45 minutes for this location. If there were emergencies that came before my dog a simple phone call would have been nice. My dog left without being seen and this will make me rethink if I bring my dog back to this office!

I even reminded them on 2 different occasions. They said I would get a card with her paw, ear and nose prints and they would enclose her hair and I would recieve it within a week. I called Almost 2 weeks later and they still had not even mailed it. When I did receive it over 2 weeks later it did not have her hair. Unbelievable 🤬. Not an ounce of humanity.

They also have weekend hours which is key for me. The vet technicians are personable and caring. I especially appreciate vet tech Gregory who has been someone who has done a great job with trimming my dog Ellie's nails and providing care when I have had to do drop off visits. All of the veterinarians I have worked with have helped me keep my dog healthy. I have a Wellness plan and that has kept bills manageable for me.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
