My daughters dog had an amazing time! It was easy, walk in, shots, treats snuggles with the workers and her fears were released. We can now board my grand (dau)ghter for vacation

I took my 4 year old pittie to get her vaccines. She is afraid of strangers so for the vet I put a muzzle on her. It was also 90 degrees outside so I put shoes on her so she can safely walk across the parking lot. I had also given her a calming treat to help with her nerves and 25mg benadryl to make sure she doesn't have a reaction to the vaccine. She had a small reaction at 6 weeks old and since that time she has gotten a benadryl on vet day. They were looking for a reason to not treat her. First there were concerns about her being aggressive because she was muzzled. I was shocked by this because I have never had a vet have issue with the muzzle. Dogs can bite because they are afraid. She does not have a bite history. She was very well behaved. She did not bark or pull on her lead. If you are going to work in the vet field, you can not be afraid of any breed of dog.
