DONT DO IT!!! UNPROFESSIONAL TRAINER HIT MY DOG AND REFUND HAS NOT BEEN GIVEN
The trainer rescheduled and never contacted me again. While in training the training was not really helpful to my dog.
The trainer TJ ( in steelyard)even HIT my dog when she was frustrated. She advised me to get rid of my dog instead of helping me address problems. It's all on camera, yet I continued to go to the lessons until the rescheduling problem happened.
My friend read the reviews and notified me that TJs past animal abuse has been talked about in other reviews, yet nothing has been done to change staff.(review on yelp incase anyone wants to read about past abuse someone else experienced)
It's been almost 2 YEARS and I have not been sussesful in getting my money back. They say you can only get refund if 2 lessons or less have happened. I did not get to finish the first course out of 3 courses! If the trainer never contacted me to reschedule- THAT IS THE TRAINERS ISSUE NOT MINE.
I want a refund or to be able to finish my classes at another location where my dog is not abused.
I am essentially giving $300 to a company for free.

I did not find the training to be helpful at all. I went through the first class and knew it wasn't what I wanted, but I gave it another chance. The next class, I still felt the same way. I felt it would be better if we were shown how to initiate the commands to our dogs, instead, we were told.
Before the third class I canceled/withdrew from the class with Petco and the Trainer. I expressed my concerns and chose not to disclose a few others. What I chose to keep private were statements the trainer made that I felt were inappropriate.
Petco stated a refund would be more than likely issued. I received an email stating it was denied and would need to talk to the store manager. I spoke to the trainer and she said there was nothing she could do because the office denied it.
After reviewing the refund policy, I would've needed to cancel prior to the start of the second class.
