  Speaking on the grooming department, very unprofessional I had an appointment for 5:00pm groomer never showed up.i even went to the extent of coming in a few days ahead of time to book the appointment, didn't make a difference they still never showed.again if you want your dog washed go to another pet store.

  Love this store but there restock for fish tank filters of there own brand is ridiculous. I always have to go to a different Petco to get my filters. Because this one in the steel yards doesn't know how to restock their own brand of filters for fish tanks but can restock for every other fish tank filter there.

  Me and my wife went to Petco to get puppy training on potty training. The instructor spent more time talking about her dogs than the training 80 percent of the Conversation was about her experience with her big dogs I only wish that we had another instructor. 2 star the only reason for 2 stars is that she spent a hour and a half with us instead of the 45 minutes the appointment was scheduled for.

  So many good things to say for a chain store. Start off with Charles the dog groomer did a phenomenal job with getting my boy bathed, nails clipped, and addressing some winter dry skin. He was very adamant on safety with making sure all vaccines were up to date. During my walk in appointment he also addressed a very rude (Karen) customer, who did not have proper vaccine for her dog with class and the upmost professionalism. He even addressed her dog’s aggression towards my boy in the waiting room. We had discussed how my boy was attacked by a small dog last year and his shyness around aggressive small male dogs. I also bought a dog coat that was a size too small. I called to confirm the exchange with the manager Shaun. Shaun helped me confirm the bigger size was in stock, and would be reserved for my exchange in-between meetings the next day. All and all this place has a solid staff of animal lovers who believe in safety and top tier customer service.

  Ordered dog food through pickup order, I arrived and the cashier gave me the bag. I got to my car and seen the best by date of July 2025! Walked right back in the store. The same cashier called a manager up to process a return because it was the last bag. The manager proceeded to tell her how to process a return, instead of showing her how to do it and then proceeded to check out other customers! No apologies from either of them! The manager especially had a nasty disposition! Hey lady it's not my fault you guys do not check your items expiration dates! I should not have gone back to this particular Petco, have had issues with them few years back not knowing how to process a manufacturer's coupon! I won't be back after this and I regretfully have to give them 1 star!
