Took my dogs to Pet*****, and I was not impressed when I went to pick them up the outside area of the grooming salon was covered by a huge pee puddle, I let an associate know and they got the big puddle but there were a few spots missed. Then I stepped inside and again pee all over the floor by the door, I let one of them know before they helped me and the guy in front and they just shrugged it off. So after spending hundreds to get my dogs groomed they had no choice but to step inside pee and get it all over their freshly cleaned paws, the lady that took them back when I dropped them off called my huskies rats. I since have gone here and I’m always amazed by how white and bright my huskies are after their grooming bath and de-shedding, I mean like those commercials that after a place is cleaned they add in the sparkles, that kind of white and bright, just always blown away. I feel terrible I let them get as dirty as they get before seeing how clean they always come out. Jen did all three today and they are amazing looking, she did such a fantastic job. I will always go here, I don’t know if the pictures I took before (just hanging out at the house) and the ones I took after they came out shiny like a new penny will do justice to how great they look now, and they also smell really nice. The first three pictures will be before and the next three will be after. I also want to address some of the reviews below me that have one star, my huskies were scheduled for the same time and after I dropped them off Petco also called me to pick one up who was just sitting in the cage howling and singing the song of her people, and I understand why, when I went to pick one up there was an old timer dog getting ready to go back, and my huskies were communicating with each other through howls and singing and it gets LOUD. So other dogs that are old timers don’t need or shouldn’t have to listen to such noise especially when it can make them more nervous, I picked her up and dropped her off again later that day and all of them were clean and happy. The other person who wanted to stay in store while grooming was being done, doesn’t understand it makes the groomers job harder when your dog sees the owner and starts wanting to go see them/me when they are still getting groomed, and something serious like an injury can happen if they go to pull away while scissors are being used or even clippers both for hair and nails. I went in to a Petsmart store in Michigan a little early when I lived in Michigan and I didn’t notice my husky could see me and started fighting the groomer trying to get to me, so I stopped going in early because I don’t want my husky getting hurt from trying to get back to me (she is a huge daddies girl, the downside of being retired and being home with them 99% of the time). So they have these policies for a good reason, it’s for your dogs safety as well as the groomers, quit crying and let them do their job.

I am absolutely disappointed with the treatment I received at the Petco grooming on Winton Road. The last couple times I brought my dog to his grooming appointment, he has been left with a bloody paw due to the staff, cutting his nails down too short. I took my pet to his grooming appointment recently, and was told that it would take over an hour for him to be finished. However, I received a text message within 20 minutes that he was all done. Upon arrival I noticed that his ears weren’t thoroughly clean and that his nail was bleeding. My pet has never received any complaints about his behavior during his appointments. It’s always been compliments. However, this recent time I was told by Elizabeth that he tried to bite after being placed in the kennel. My pet has no history of being violent towards anyone in that store or strangers in general so it makes me question how he was being treated during those 20 rushed minutes. upon picking him up, he also seemed as if he was in distress and jumped into my arms. I was told that I would no longer be allowed to book online and that I would have to call in, which is ridiculous. After reading some of these reviews, I realized that this seems to be an ongoing issue with this establishment andI have since deleted my account. My pet and I never will return and I highly recommend you all go elsewhere so your pets can be treated with proper care.
