I needed some wood shaving bedding to line an owl box. They had what I needed in natural softwood. The staff were very pleasant and easy to deal with.

We tried to buy a beta fish today. The sales lady wouldn't sell one because we didn't have a 5 gallon tank that was set up for a week. We brought 3 a couple weeks ago. Not sure what happened

I only gave a one star because zero stars are not an option. Roscoe and I have been coming here for years and I have never had somebody get an attitude because my dog hiked his leg. It was just a fake when we came in through the door & the cashier got noticeably irritated. I explained it’s OK, it was a fake pee and if it wasn’t, I would clean it up. I then asked her where the flea tick medicine is at, and she just pointed to an aisle, which is totally fine. When we were in that aisle, she happened to be going past. I asked her if they have any pills for flea and tick preventative and she said they do not and I said OK. Then she gasped and stomped her foot and I asked is everything OK and she said well your dog just peed. I said that’s fine. I will clean it up, this is a pet store. It’s probably common. As I was leaving, there was another lady , and I very politely let her know that her associate had an attitude the entire time and all she could say was, oh that’s just her mannerism. I said well that’s not OK when you’re in customer service and especially not OK when you are dealing with animals. She should not have been rude to me. The lady then replied, well she wasn’t being rude, you get used to it. I said that’s no excuse to treat customers the way she did. It was not until a friend of mine and her husband came in with their dog that all of a sudden, the woman said, well I am sorry about that. I am seldom one to complain about customer service but this is the first bad experience I’ve had here and I am incredibly disappointed and pretty pissed off about it. I am so irritated about it, I will literally be calling the store tomorrow to talk to the manager. Except for those two, everybody I’ve ever dealt with that works here has been absolutely sweet and helpful. Awful experience here
